1. What information do we gather?
There are two places on our website where we collect your personal information: On the ‘Dealer Profile’ page and the ‘Checkout’ page during the checkout phase of your buying process. Both of these pages are protected by the SSL Certificate and create a secure environment for the submission of your information.
2. What organisation is collecting the information?
Bluechip Infotech collects and stores information in our secure and confidential database. All orders and credit card payments are processed by our staff.
3. How do we use your information?
We have three main uses for your personal information: Tracking your visit at Bluechip Infotech, processing and shipping your order, and being able to contact you a) at your request, b) because of an issue with your order, or c) for occasional special offers.
Your telephone number is used only if we have questions or need to reach you immediately regarding your order.
Your name, address, telephone, email, and shipping address all remain private in our secure database.
4. With whom will your information be shared?
We will never share or sell your personal information, including your email address, to other companies for any reason, except as required by law.
5. What choices are available to you regarding collection, use, and distribution of the information?
In order to complete any request/order/service, it is necessary for you to enter a minimum amount of information. The required fields of entry are always marked with a red arrow. All other fields are optional. You always have the option of entering your credit card information on our site or calling one of our CAIR Representatives to provide it over the phone.
6a. SSL Technology
Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology is presently the safest way to send credit card information over the Internet. Information is first encrypted on your computer, then decrypted on our side, preventing anyone from accessing any information in between. To ensure your security, we recommend the use of SSL-capable browsers, like Netscape 3.0 or Internet Explorer 3.0 or higher.
Dealers can submit the first level password for web access to the CAIR Centre and a second level password for the ability to place orders online. Each password must be 6 characters in length. If there is no ‘Ordering Password’ supplied, it is assumed that the ‘Web Access Password’ will also enable the ordering of products online.
If you happen to forget your passwords and need to retrieve them or you would like to change either password, call our CAIR Centre to make this request.
7a. Correct/Update Policy
Bluechip Infotech offers you the ability to correct or change the information in your profile at any time and as often as necessary. You can access and change it from the CAIR Centre Dealer Profile or during the checkout phase of the buying process. 7b. Delete/Deactivate Policy
If you would like your information to be deleted or deactivated from our site, please contact email@example.com.
8. What if our policies change?
Should the need to change any of the above stated policies arise, the new policy will be posted here. Any new policy will be posted a full 30 days before its enactment.
